5 Things to Remove From Your Bedroom for a Better Sleep

  1. Take out:  Dry Cleaning/Bags  --- Anything that has been dry cleaned, that hasn't been aired out fully has to go!  (This is due to the cleaning chemicals used.)  Hang garments outside (or inside a closet with an Air Oasis purifier) until the smell is gone.  Always remove the bags as they hold the smell of the chemicals in.
  2. Take out:  Perfumes and Perfumed Items --- Common culprits are scented laundry and scented candles.  They are sometimes a mix of hundred of chemicals, many of which are untested.  You don't want to agitate your central nervous system when you are trying to get a good night's sleep.
  3. Take out:  TV's, Computers, Refrigerators --- Electronics hum during the night.  You should try to get your body to be keyed into its own natural rhythms, not to techno noise.
  4. Take out:  Electric blankets, digital alarm clock --- If these things are within 6 ft. of the bed, they should be removed.  They cause high levels of electromagnetic fields.  Our bodies' natural systems want to be in the most pure, natural state.  If they are being pulsed by frequencies that aren't natural, then it isn't natural sleep.
  5. Take out:  Synthetic bedding.  Switch to 100% organic cotton sheets.  Get an organic pillow made from wool or cotton or down.  Try a wool comforter.  And, when you can afford it, get an organic wool mattress--wool is great for wicking moisture.

These things will certainly help you get a good night's sleep if you try them.
